Zed Zha, MD is a primary cae physician. She graduated from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where she received the Gold Humanism Honor Society Award and the John F. Radebaugh Community Service Award. She completed her residency at the Mayo Clinic - La Crosse Family Medicine Residency, where she was the recipient of the Residency Research Award. Zed practiced full-scope primary care with obstetrics and hospital medicine in rural Washington state during the pandemic years and served as her organization’s COVID-19 Task Force Physician Lead. Shen then completed the Underserved Dermatology fellowship in Texas before returning to rural Washington State to provide dermatological access to immigrant and underserved communities.

Dr. Zha actively engages in research and teaching. Her research has been published in the Journal of Family Practice, the American Academy of Pediatrics Newsletter, Neonatology Today, the Journal of Investigative Medicine, the Journal of Medical Case Reports, the Journal of Primary Care and Community Health, etc.

Dr. Zha is the co-author of the upcoming American Association of Family Physicians (AAFP) FP Essentials monograph on pediatric dermatology. She is also a lecturer for the AAFP FMX national conference and the AAFP Skin Problems and Diseases Course in 2024 on various dermatological topics.

Additionally, Dr. Zha was a clinical instructor for the University of Washington School of Medicine and currently teaches family medicine residents and nurse practitioner residents in clinical rotations.

Zed is a first-generation immigrant from China. Traveling and backpacking fuel her soul. She enjoys nature photography, and is particularly drawn to sunrises and sunsets. All the nature photos on this website were taken by Zed. Of course, Moshi Moshi, her labradoodle puppy, goes wherever Zed goes.
